Abstract:
The article substantiates the implementation of the system approach to ensuring the economic security of enterprises in the context of economic digitalization, increasing risks, and intensifying global competition. The evolution of scientific approaches to the concept of a system, particularly in the context of economic security, has been revealed, and its modern interpretation as an integrated mechanism for protecting the enterprise from external and internal threats has been outlined. A structural-logical scheme has been developed to illustrate the interrelationship between the elements of the economic security system and the overall stability of the enterprise, demonstrating the key factors of security’s impact on financial stability, investment attractiveness, and competitiveness. The main digital technologies that enhance the security level of enterprises have been systematized, including Big Data, CRM systems, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and automated risk management systems. It is substantiated that the integration of digital solutions into the security management system not only minimizes threats but also enhances the efficiency of strategic planning, the transparency of financial processes, and the speediness of decision-making. The authors’ own vision of the principles of economic security, which are fundamental for forming an effective risk management policy, has been proposed. It is determined that the economic security system of an enterprise encompasses financial, personnel, informational, technological, and legal components, the functioning of which should be based on the principles of comprehensiveness, adaptability, integration, continuous monitoring, and strategic management. It has been revealed that the principle of comprehensiveness ensures the coordinated interaction of all elements of the security system, adaptability – its flexibility and ability to respond to dynamic challenges, integration – the inclusion of the security system in the overall enterprise management structure, continuous monitoring – constant risk control, and strategic management – a focus on long-term sustainability and development.
