Abstract:
The pace of adopting green economy standards in Ukraine is very important for the functioning and life of its territories. Territorial communities are the key level for implementing these processes because they are centers of human capital, resource capacity, local economic activity, and spatial organization. Using the opportunities of the green transition in public territorial development management serves not only as a guide for long-term modernization but also as a practical tool to enhance the resilience and sustainability of local development, reduce challenges and risks, and adapt to new spatial, socioeconomic, and climate conditions. Efficient territory management creates favorable and comfortable conditions for turning them into competitive hubs, builds the community?s capacity to earn money independently, develop industries, and expand tourism opportunities; it allows for an efficient response to socioeconomic problems, challenges, and threats. The joint interaction of spatial management with the use of private sector experience and business management methods creates opportunities to transform subsidized and problematic areas of the country into self-sufficient, financially and energy independent, competitive, comfortable, and safe living centers. The aim of the article is to analyze and summarize theoretical and practical approaches regarding the specifics of the interaction between business management and territorial management in the context of spatial economy development based on sustainability, innovation, and the green transition, taking into account European experience in implementing the green economy conception, such as in the field of green metallurgy, for their further use during the stage of rebuilding and recovery of Ukraine. Among the issues considered are: summarizing priority areas to determine interconnected interests that shape the specifics of the interaction between business management and territorial management when using opportunities for developing a sustainable and resilient spatial economy; analyzing the principles and factors of recovery and rebuilding based on the development of the green economy, which influence determining expectations and development priorities for building the capacity of local socioeconomic systems; the relevance of implementing technological innovations in the development of green metallurgy, which offers advantages in the process of managing the territories of Ukraine.

Keywords: sustainable and resilient spatial economy; innovative development; green transition; green economy; green metallurgy; strategic planning; business management; territory management.
