Abstract:
The aim of the article is to justify and consider the advantages and disadvantages of coworking centers, which contribute to enhancing effectiveness of using working potential in a coworking space. The relevance of the study is explained by the fact that today companies are increasingly using a flexible workplace or expanding the use of this space due to qualitative and quantitative reasons, which are caused by a person’s desire for self-development. At present, the new system of the country’s economy requires development and adoption of certain approaches to organizing the workplace. To achieve the aim set in the article, empirical and theoretical research methods are used. As a result of the study, it is determined that a creative approach to choosing a workplace allows to increase the productivity of an enterprise due to business flexibility, access to innovations, working with like-minded people and creative engagement and to reduce capital costs. Coworking combines the advantages of both working in a home environment and traditional office, and, therefore, working in it provides a positive impact on labor productivity. Having analyzed the collective spaces of the city of Kharkiv, two unique centers can be singled out: “Baobab EcoWorking” and “Shishka”. The coworking centers are functioning based on educational and networking programs, help residents get to know each other, build business ties, increase and develop their potential. The results of the study can be implemented in enterprises and organizations to enhance labor productivity. With their successful implementation, working in a coworking center at the level of a business platform will lead to increasing in the level of the economy as a whole. Thus, in the near future, collective spaces may become a new network format in the service sector.
