Place of employment: Educational and Scientific Institute "Karazin Institute of International Relations and Tourism Business" of the V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Professor of the Department of International Economic Relations and Logistics.
Head of the European educational project Module Jean Monnet 611674-EPP-1-2019-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE (project period 2019-2022) "European integration of Ukraine in the conditions of Industry 4.0" with the participation of Kharkiv National University named after V. N. Karazin.

Research interests:
– foreign investments and economic integration, technology transfer, export potential, European integration and practical aspects of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU;
– convergence of knowledge, technology, and society using the NBIC-technologies in the context of the spread of Industry 4.0;
– science and technology policy, foresight-research to select priorities for innovation development of Ukraine in the context of association with the EU and the new industrial revolution

Matushenko I. Yu. is the author of more than 300 educational and methodological, and research publications, including 50 monographs, 14 course books and study guides, 30 articles in foreign professional editions with impact factor, and has 10 copyright certificates

He is a member of the scientific and editorial boards of a number of foreign specialized journals, including: Applied Economics and Finance (USA), Journal of Economics and Public Finance (USA), British Journal of Economics, Management & Trade (UK, USA, India), ACTA INNOVATIONS (Poland)
